I am an educator who has invested my life in the process of teaching and learning for the purpose of enhancing the lives of those I encounter.

I bring to each encounter extensive cross-cultural experience. I have lived in France and Cote d'Ivoire. For over a decade my work in the non profit world focused on listening to and coaching ex-pat and immigrant families transitioning into school settings across 40 countries.

I am an associate professor of education with an expertise in educational psychology and with a research focus on enhancing the schooling process of transitioning immigrant and refugee families.
